The Gauteng Older Persons Forum is a NPO civic organization which represents the rights of Older Persons in Gauteng. One of GOPF objectives is to Educate, Lobby and Advocate for Older Persons rights in Gauteng.

The organizations beneficiaries are all older persons residing within the Gauteng Province. The structure of the forum is divided in to 4 spheres(Provincial Forum, Regional Forums, Local Forums and Ward Based Forum), there are 5 Regional Forums which are, Sedibeng, Tshwane, Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg and Westrand. There are 24 Local Forums with in the 5 Regions and within the Local Forums there are Ward Based Forums.

We also represent all the funded and unfunded Older Persons NPOs, PBOs and NPCs. We are the voice of Older Persons.
